"Production is up an impressive 15 to 20 percent with the 3800XL Wood Hog compared to the competitive grinder we used previously.

Trees definitely move through faster. Typically we do 100 yard loads. Today, we ran it from 7 to noon and ran 800 yards of mulch through the machine—close to two loads an hour. With our old 750-hp machine, we would have been doing good to get that much production in a day. Additionally, hourly operating costs are down 10 to 15 percent with the new machine."
