Komatsu has raised the bar in loader productivity with the introduction of the mid-range -5 hydrostatically driven machines. The WA250-5, WA320-5 and WA380-5 no longer have mechanical transmissions, which were replaced by hydraulic pumps, and motors that are directly attached to the axle differentials. Not only do you eliminate a long list of maintenance items, the productivity of these machines has to be felt to be believed.
