Ingersoll-Rand, by far, has the most comprehensive line of paving equipment available from one manufacturer in the world. In addition to Blaw-Knox, Ingersoll-Rand has the leading European paving manufacturer, ABG, and has introduced the tamper bar screed models to North America - used to place stone or cement treated base, or extremely thick asphalt lifts, to very precise grades, and to densities that meet or exceed 90 percent, in one pass. Blaw-Knox also offers a material transfer machine, the MC-330, for high volume highway paving, as well as the two rubber-tired road wideners, the RW100 and RW195. In 1999, Ingersoll-Rand purchased Neal Manufacturing, a maker of 4' and 8' wide track pavers. They are now introducing new models of 'little Blaw-Knoxes'. Columbus Equipment Company now has an arsenal of asphalt finishers, for everything from cart paths to main line work, rubber tired or track mounted, high or low volume machines, all supported from one state away, out of our 8 Ohio branches.

Since
1964, Columbus Equipment Company has proudly offered Blaw-Knox
paving equipment to discriminating contractors throughout the state. The
original model paver was actually designed by a contractor in Lorain County,
OH in the 40's and the rights were purchased by the Blaw-Knox company.
Today, the Blaw-Knox paver is part of Ingersoll-Rand's road
machinery division, headquartered in Shippensburg, PA.
