This was the second year the training seminar has been hosted, and had 14 attendees present, representing Capital City Group, D-Crane Rental LLC, Henry Gurtzweiler Inc., Kokosing Construction Company Inc., and The Ruhlin Company. “Dealer support is important for the manufacturer as well as for our customers,” noted Bob Weber, head of Columbus Equipment Company’s Lifting Division. “Some of the companies we serve are small, and they may not even have a mechanic on staff, so these training oppor- tunities go a long way toward landing jobs and keeping customers competitive.” With 3D Lift Plan, users are able to find the best crane for the lift. The training provided attendees with Level 1 and Level 2 certification to better assist with appropriate crane selection and rigging, as well as training on professional lift presentations. Link-Belt users can sign up for an account online at (or follow the link from the Link-Belt Preferred website), and receive free access to all Link-Belt cranes in their 3-D models. Users may also upgrade their account to access features such as Google Earth maps, importing CAD plans, and using various rigging tests. Columbus Equipment Company will host another annual 3D Lift Plan seminar in April of 2017. We invite you to contact Bob Weber at (614) 437-0304 to reserve your place. 3 3D Lift Plan Training: GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR LINK-BELT INVESTMENT LINK-BELT NEWS “These training opportunities go a long way toward landing jobs and keeping customers competitive.” Bob Weber, Head of Lifting Division Columbus Equipment Company
